📍 What it is Endometriosis Cyst ?

  • Endometriosis happens when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows outside the uterus.

  • When this tissue grows inside the ovary, it can form a cyst filled with old, dark blood → called an endometrioma.

  • The term “chocolate cyst” comes from the cyst’s thick, brown fluid that looks like melted chocolate.

📍 Causes

  • Retrograde menstruation (period blood flowing backward into pelvis).

  • Hormonal and immune system factors.

  • Genetic predisposition.

📍 Symptoms

  • Pelvic pain (before and during periods, sometimes all the time).

  • Pain during sex.

  • Heavy or irregular periods.

  • Infertility or difficulty conceiving.

  • Sometimes no symptoms (cyst found on ultrasound incidentally).

📍 Diagnosis

  • Ultrasound (transvaginal or pelvic) shows cyst with ground-glass appearance.

  • MRI may be used if needed.

  • Laparoscopy (minor surgery) is the gold standard for confirming diagnosis.

📍 Treatment

Depends on size, symptoms, and fertility plans:

Homeopathy Treatment for Endometriosis

Homeopathic treatment offers natural and safe management of Endometriosis, providing relief of symptoms like pain, inflammation, adhesion and scarred Fallopian tubes. Homeopathic therapeutics focuses on the underlying cause of these health problems, treating at a deep level as well as helping with symptoms.

  • With Endometriosis there is usually a hormonal imbalance involved, which can also affect the client at an emotional level. Homeopathic remedies are fantastic at supporting emotional and mental symptoms as well as physical. Homeopathic treatment provides a complete holistic individual centered approach, supporting at all levels, mental, emotional, and physical.

One key difference is that when Homeopathic therapeutics are prescribed it is by symptoms rather than conditions, as illness is experienced in different ways by different people. The Homeopathic remedy is selected based on the individuals’ symptoms and the approach of the Homeopath is holistic, supporting at all levels, physically, mentally and emotionally. The aim is to treat the symptoms but also address the underlying cause of the problem.

Important: Endometriomas can affect fertility, and they also tend to recur. So, treatment is tailored depending on age, symptoms, and pregnancy plans.
